Carling Chiu, Mezzo-Soprano who is the only Hong Kong-born Chinese singer to have graduated with the traditional specialisation course in singing in Italy and the first to have graduated with the latest postgraduate specialisation degree from the Conservatory Arrigo Boito of Parma which is one of the most prestigious music schools in Italy with maximum grade and distinction \u201c110\/110 con lode\u201d under the guidance of M\u00ba Ilia Aramayo and M\u00ba Romano Franceschetto.<\/p>\n

After winning numberous singing contests on Pop, Pop Rock, Jazz, etc. Ms. Chiu started her music career in 1999 as studio singer for different music production and singer for different events. 19 years old, Ms Chiu is dedicated herself to music educational work on: music theory, harmony, analysis, aural and sight singing, choir conductor, vocal. Etc.<\/p>\n

Ms. Chiu began her studies at a young age in Hong Kong where she received her Bachelor of Music Degree (Honours) from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and during the years of 2 postgraduate-programmes, Ms. Chiu began performing in Italy including several opera roles from various opera productions such as \u201cMaddalena\u201d (Rigoletto), \u201cZita\u201d (Gianni Schicchi), \u201cDorabella\u201d (Cos\u00ec Fan Tutte). Beside opera production, Ms.Chiu has been singing for different concerts and recitals organised by \u201cVERDI OFF\u201d FESTIVAL VERDI, Teatro Regio, Orchestra \u201cGiuseppe Verdi\u201d di Parma, and the largest comics festival in Europe \u201cLucca Comics & Games\u201d and the television channel LA7 and LA8.<\/p>\n

In addition to live performances, Ms. Chiu is also a very active singer and vocal producer and music producer for numerous music productions from baroque to contemporary vocal music, Pop to EDM music.<\/p>\n
